Mr. Gozie Obi

Gozie Obi is founder and Chief Executive Officer of AAL. He started the company in 1999 after his education and specialist training and has grown the company from a small business to a prominent regional player in the electrical and power sector in Nigeria.  Under his leadership, AAL has experienced exceptional growth since its inception and now delivers power transmission and generation projects across Nigeria with over 200 sub-contractors on some major projects.

Gozie is proud to have led the rural electrification of many states and communities across the country and  the supplies of  different electrical and power equipment to other sub Saharan African countries. He has led the company into strategic partnership with some power manufacturers in Turkey and Asia.

His recent focus has been to ensure the AAL consistently adopts the right strategy and the right technology-mix for our customers, and remains customer centric. He has led the heavy investment in our employees training from health and safety to quality improvement, general electrical knowledge and software. He is driving the knowledge acquisition and global partnership solicitation in the application of big data in power generation and distribution, which is a new revenue potential for AAL.
